My thesis book editorial design that presents a theoretical framework that describes the relationship between fans and idols as a complex map of connections and determinants.
This relationship predetermines that the path to becoming an idol within a minority is much longer and more significant than the idol formation within a broader group. For gay male fans, this relationship becomes an integral part of their exploration and discovery of who they are and how they want to portray themselves.
