CLOUDTHORN

Created specifically for an art exhibition named Pratt Show hold in Brooklyn that curated by Pratt Institute Art Department. This art project is a profound visual exploration of the cultural phenomenon surrounding facial fillers. The project delves into the complexities of our obsession with facial fillers, examining the alluring power these fillers hold and the fear and pain that comes with them. The project is titled CloudThorn, a name that captures the duality of the filler's texture - both hard and soft. This juxtaposition reflects the broader emotional and psychological impact of the filler, highlighting the intricate relationship between physical appearance and personal identity. Through this work, I hope to generate a deeper reflection on the social pressures and internal conflicts associated with cosmetic surgery.
